What we believe

As a Church, these are some of the things we value:

  • Gospel-centered preaching and teaching.
  • Prayer and authentic worship.
  • Biblical Community — caring for one another and fellowship with other believers.
  • Evangelism — explaining and living out the Gospel.
  • Children — we love to see children growing in the love and knowledge of God.
  • Focusing on people’s relationship with God.
  • Participation of everyone in the congregation.
  • Serving the needs of the wider community.
  • If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[e] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” ROMANS 10; 9.

As a Church we are:

Excited about God: passionate about our love of God Father, Son and Holy Spirit and wholehearted in our worship of Him. (Matthew 22:37)

Growing in our relationship with Jesus: in our knowledge of Him, our friendship with Him, in our obedience to Him and becoming more like Him in every area of our lives. (2 Peter 3:18)

Equipped for service to fulfil our God-given role in the life of the Church, through training, encouraging and developing our gifts from the Lord. (Ephesians 4:12)

Committed to each other to worship together, encourage support and care for each other, in an open and honest way. (Hebrews 10:25)

Reaching out to Gorey town and beyond. Expressing God’s love through living out and proclaiming the gospel and seeking to meet the needs of people. (Acts 1:8)

In all of the above we seek to be biblical, prayerful and have everyone involved.
